Twins / Mellizas
This self-published editorial project represents an inner journey to childhood, symbolized by the trajectory of a hot air balloon in the fog. The journey to the past is taken with my sister Cristina, with whom I am a twin, and it is an imaginary adventure parallel to a real one, a trip to Hamburg, where the hot air balloon appeared in the midst of the fog.
In parallel to the photographic narrative, our dialogue flows based on the game of Cadavre Exquis, which has its origins in the Surrealism art movement. The condition was to use terms related to our childhood and our relationship, linked to the images of the balloon. We maintained a playful dynamic for a week, where one of us would write a sentence and the other could only read the last word... and then write their sentence, and so on...

Este proyecto editorial autoeditado representa un viaje interior a la infancia, simbolizado por la trayectoria de un globo aerostático en la niebla. El viaje al pasado lo hago con mi hermana Cristina, de la que soy melliza, y es una aventura imaginaria en paralelo a una real, un viaje a Hamburgo, donde en medio de la niebla apareció el globo aerostático.
En paralelo a la narración fotográfica fluye nuestro diálogo realizado en base al juego del cadavre exquis. La condición era la de usar términos relacionados con nuestra infancia y nuestra relación, vinculadas a las imágenes del globo. Mantuvimos una dinámica de juego durante una semana, en la que una escribía una frase y la otra solo podía leer la última palabra... y escribía su frase, y así sucesivamente...
